EFS Engagement

The client appointed EFS to deliver complete Integrated Facilities Management services for its manufacturing unit in Uttarakhand. Spread over 120,000 sq. ft., the manufacturing unit produces food and personal care goods. EFS personnel work around the clock delivering 4,400 manhours a month to ensure a hassle free, smooth running operational experience at the facility. EFS personnel standardized the schedule of equipment maintenance which resulted in minimal down time of equipment. EFS personnel carried out periodic inspection of electrical equipment and alerted the client to variations in equipment load levels to mitigate their impact on the energy conservations mechanisms at the plant. EFS established and implemented best practices and Standard Operating Procedures for equipment which has resulted in zero penalties for down time of equipment.

Our client is among the largest mobile network operators globally.

    EFS Engagement

    Our client appointed EFS India to provide complete Operation and Maintenance services for utilities and the Annual Maintenance Contract of its critical and non-critical equipment for multiple facilities spread over 32 locations across the western and southern markets of India. EFS personnel deliver nearly 26,000 manhours a month to ensure the smooth running of the client’s facilities in 32 locations.

    EFS proactively engaged with the client and launched a comprehensive review of its existing critical and non-critical infrastructure, and identified significant areas of improvement to enhance its cost optimization drive.

    The EFS team interfaced with the client to establish a detailed 52 weeks PPM schedule that was stringently enforced. The constant monitoring of critical infrastructure and periodic maintenance of outdated or malfunctioning equipment minimized the need for reactive maintenance.

    EFS also optimized the client’s manpower resources with an efficient roster rotation system that resulted in a significant reduction of absenteeism.

    EFS also leveraged its strong vendor base in India to expedite the procurement and delivery of vital support equipment which also reduced the Turn Around Times well within the client’s internal thresholds.
